FAQ

Event

What is TableTop Champ?

It's an event held by Ballista Games on International TableTop day, where participants compete with other people by playing different board games. Win or Lose, you advance to a next game.

How does it work?

A group of 16 people will be divided by four and each group of four will play a game. There will be three rounds; the first, the second and the final round. The first and second rounds are played so that you can experience different games with different people. The top scorers of the second round will complete for a final round.

Registration

Will there be a registration fee for this?

A small fee of 50 Php will be collected.

How many will be playing?

A maximum of 16 will be allowed to register. Anyone signing up after that will be on a waitlist

Can I register even if I do not know how to play the other games?

Yes. All the games are easy to learn. You can learn as you play. But we do recommend that you have played already as it will give you an advantage :)

Alright, so where to I sign-up?

Prize

Will the prize really be any board game I want?

Yes, as long as it's in stock or it's on print.

What if you don't have the board game I want?

We can special order it for you and all you have to do is wait for a week or two. We will contact you once it's ready.

Games

How will I know which game I will play?

The RNG God will use the holy power of luck upon you. You will roll dice. Each game has a number range. If you fall into that number range, you will play that game!

What are the games?

For round one, we have King of New York, Survive: Escape from Atlantis, Carcassonne (Base game) and Ticket to Ride USA with 1910 expansion

For round two we have, Splendor, Istanbul, Machi Koro and Sheriff of Nottingham

For the final round we will be playing Lords of Waterdeep!

Scoring

How is a winner evaluated?

The one with the most points in a game will be the winner

How are 2nd, 3rd and 4th placers evaluated?

By their scores.

If there is a tie between positions, how will it be resolved?

First, we want to follow the tie-breaking rules of the game. Else, we do another round or we flip a coin :)
